Southern Guild joins forces with Artlogic for the momentous debut of its first ever collection in 2009. Held at the Sandton Convention Centre, the 2009 Joburg Art Fair includes a large stand devoted to bringing contemporary collectible design into the art world.

The showcase of work has been selected from a wide variety of disciplines as the finest, most original, exciting pieces made by the most compelling talents working in the country. The exhibition signals the birth of a new design category in the local market, with its focus on unique, limited-edition, never-seen-before works.

The wide-ranging group of makers represented on Southern Guild’s stand include award-winning and established artists and designers, emerging talents to watch, collaborations with master craftsmen, and alliances across different disciplines with a crossover of art and design.
