Southern Guild presents its second annual collection at the 2010 Joburg Art Fair, the second year it is participating in the country’s leading contemporary art fair. More than 30 designers and artists’ work is showcased, with many new major works launching at the fair.

The line-up includes furniture, lighting, ceramics, sculpture and objects by Gregor Jenkin, Adam Hoets of Willowlamp, James Mudge, Pierre Cronje, KOOP, John Vogel, Lyall Sprong, Jenny Gifford, Ronel Jordaan, Haldane Martin, Bronze Age, Friday Jibu, Michael Methven, Micky Haigh, Martine Jackson, Andile Dyalvane, Beezy Bailey, Ardmore, Porky Hefer, Ceramic Matters, Paco Pakdoust in collaboration with Conrad Botes, Andrew Early, and Adriaan Hugo (of Dokter and Misses) in collaboration with Zander Blom.

Notable works premiering at the fair include the Loves Me, Loves Me Not table by John Vogel, the Haunted rug by Paco Pakdoust and Conrad Botes, an all-white range of ceramics by Ardmore, the Stealth chair by Haldane Martin, and Die Laaste Braai, a conceptual sculpture by Hugo and Blom.
