Southern Guild will participate in the Investec Cape Town Art Fair’s first-ever Digital Event taking place from 17-19 September 2021. Running in parallel with miart, the international modern and contemporary art fair in Milan, this online event will welcome collectors from all over the globe.

Our online viewing room will include work by established Southern Guild artists including Adam Birch, Conrad Hicks and Stanislaw Trzebinski, as well as newcomers such as Jozua Gerrard. Highlights include a new work from Zizipho Poswa’s Magodi series, Beninese artist Dominique Zinkpé’s first sculpture in bronze, two ceramics from Madoda Fani’s current iQweqwe collection, and a mask from Gerrard’s sell-out solo, Loveland (on show at the gallery until 17 September).

Southern Guild will also feature important works from recent solo exhibitions by artists, including Andile Dyalvane’s Idladla, Dokter and Misses’ Practically Everywhere, Justine Mahoney’s Mage, and a work from Nandipha Mntambo’s oeuvre in anticipation of her coming solo exhibition with the gallery in February 2022.
