Southern Guild presents African collectible design to a new audience of collectors at the inaugural Intersect Aspen, an online viewing room and virtual art fair presenting over 102 international exhibitors from 27 countries. Intersect Aspen is the new name of Art Aspen, an annual art and cultural event in the heart of one of the USA’s most prestigious collector communities in Colorado.
Intersect Aspen is live at Art-Aspen.com from Wednesday, 22 July to Sunday, 26 July 2020, 2 pm – 11 pm EST (8 pm – 5 am SA time).
For Intersect Aspen, Southern Guild has curated a collection of hand-crafted furniture, lighting, sculpture and ceramics by the following leading South African artists: Andile Dyalvane, Atang Tshikare, Charles Haupt, Chuma Maweni, Conrad Hicks, Dokter and Misses, Gregor Jenkin, Jesse Ede, Justine Mahoney, Madoda Fani, Otto du Plessis, Paco Pakdoust in collaboration with Conrad Botes and John Murray, Porky Hefer, Rich Mnisi, Stanislaw Trzebinski, Xandre Kriel, Xavier Clarisse and Zizipho Poswa.
Intersect Aspen’s platform allows for a rich exchange, showcasing short films about our artists and highlighting their work via an innovative social media campaign.
